NEW YORK — The Guardian has launched WNBA 30, a limited-run women’s basketball newsletter, timed to the league’s historic 30th anniversary. Fans can sign up here.
Each week of the 2026 WNBA season, the newsletter will break down the latest news and trends, including the teams, players, rumored trades, coaching drama, tunnel fits and storylines to watch, both on and off the court. The Guardian will also celebrate the league’s 30 years of women’s professional basketball with archival content and perspectives from original players.
The WNBA 30 editorial team includes writer Jordan Robinson, co-author of “Court Queens: Celebrate the Players, Teams, and History of Women's Basketball” (Hachette Book Group, 2026), Ruth Baron, senior editor, US newsletters, Ella Brockway, assistant US sports editor, and Bryan Armen Graham, deputy US sports editor.
The Guardian has led the way for a generation in promoting women’s sport across the board. Unlike other publications, the big moments in women’s sport are just as likely as men’s sport to lead sports coverage.
