International Fund appoints Amélie Baudot as new chief executive officer

Posted

The board of the International Fund for Public Interest Media has appointed Amélie Baudot, currently deputy CEO, as the new chief executive officer of the Fund, following Nishant Lalwani’s decision to step down after four years in the role.  Lalwani will continue to support the International Fund in a non-executive capacity. Baudot will take up her position as CEO as of Oct. 1.

A founding member of the International Fund's leadership team, Baudot has been instrumental in shaping its vision and spearheading its establishment as an international organization in France — a status that has proven to be transformative for the International Fund. With over a decade of experience managing global, multi-donor impact funds, she has built a reputation for confronting and solving complex challenges faced by societies. Before joining IFPIM, she was the chief strategy and legal officer of the Global Innovation Fund, a non-profit impact-first investment fund where she pioneered their strategy to diversify sources of funding and create a new model for blended finance.
