The question: When considering what it means to be resilient, especially noting the times and stressors – past and present – within the United States of American and beyond; what is a community concept that can lead and capture the hearts of those forging forward?

According to Einstein:

Concern for man and his fate must always form the chief interest of all technical endeavors. Never forget this in the midst of your diagrams and equations. A human being is part of a whole called – by us – ‘Universe.’ Man would indeed be in a poor way if he had to be restrained by fear of punishment and hopes of reward after death. All that is valuable in human society depends upon the opportunity for development accorded the individual. Let us not forget that human knowledge and skills alone cannot lead humanity to a happy and dignified life.

The world is in greater peril from those who tolerate or encourage evil than from those who actually commit it. It is, in fact, nothing short of a miracle that the modern methods of instruction have not yet entirely strangled the holy curiosity of inquiry. The important thing is to not stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. – Albert Einstein

Further still, Albert Einstein as a staple in conversation and contribution to theory: Theoretical Physics, Theory of Relativity and also Theory – in response – of Quantum Mechanics, would definitively state,

Although I am a typical loner in daily life, my consciousness of belonging to the invisible community of those who strive for truth, beauty, and justice has preserved me from feeling isolated. The years of anxious searching in the dark, with their intense longing, their alternations of confidence and exhaustion, and final emergence into light – only those who have experienced it can understand that.

All of which is coming from an individual who struggled to land a job/career within academia for about nine years! Within a form of ecclesial spirituality, Darkness is standard imagery for oppression, light for royal relief from such oppression. (Isaiah 9:1-2) More clearly pronounced: War dulls a person’s morals concerning life. The war – as battle – on Covid-19 [SARS-CoV-2] is tough. The on-going battle for rights – civilly – is difficult. The war involving politics and the process of being truly democratic without negating an honorable form of patriotism is disconcerting.

The beginning of everything, even to its primordial state, is the essence of magic proven – as depiction – of love. Love brings about miracles…and sometimes tragedies (Hebrews chapter 6, specifically verses 9-12 with an emphasis on verses 10-11). If you have never known the pain of living in a world that rejects you at every turn, similar to Einstein’s conclusive theorem of “alternations of confidence and exhaustion,” then this might seem as a foreign concept – emotionally, intellectually and by form of distinctive reason. If the people are to know where to go, how they are to cope, what is essential for survival – as the “universe” – they MUST stay close to the Light! (If you ever want to feel, experience or even see relief; follow the light!)

Everything we want is on the other side of fear…

To answer the question of what is a community concept that can lead and capture the hearts of those forging forward: Dearest Friends – which becomes our communities of care – Emerging as Eternal Friends. These are the friends that teach us the levels and the depths of care, community, consideration, and most importantly accountability within our situation(s) of life. What you – I – do matters, even when the choice is to do nothing…

The spell we’re under is real, but oh how I wonder if we can change this shattered world…

Let’s keep on journeying and picking up the pieces, every last one.

Can we reach beyond the shattered tears?!?

When you think other people are impossible to understand, just know that I – and you – have the ability to take away that sad notion.

Your words, more than anyone else’s;

Your answers, more than anything else;

Are what I want to know!

My words, more than anyone else’s;

My answers, more than anything else;

Are what I want to – genuinely- give

So hear them and know

I want to see the same thing as you!
