-Strengthen—and promote access to—public health, healthcare, and social services

-Promote health and wellness alongside disaster preparedness

-Expand communication and collaboration

-Engage at-risk individuals and the programs that serve them

A note to stakeholders:

Often effective resources are tied to well-developed public policies. To ensure strong collective efforts, stakeholders should ensure that:

  • Everyday resource systems are aligned with holistic recovery methods. This ensures that access to care are seamless processes
  • Resources should be holistic to serve in public health, behavioral health, emergency preparedness, and overall community interventions
  • Information about available resources should be readily available
  • All community member should be considered for every available resource
